I am a longtime subscriber and need some help!

Every time I try to unroot my kindle, while flashing the update.zip, it shows the error: cant load volume /misc. Then the installation is aborted. Can you please help me? I have to send it in tomorrow and have no other options here!

If you can help me, please email me at the email attached to the comment!

    All the best,

I did what you said and now my Kindle doesn’t pass the screen when it starts to turn on that says “kindle fire” and it is orange so I no longer have TWRP.

Please help. I unrooted my Kindle Fire following the Youtube video provided by RootKindleFire.com. I was so excited – I thought it worked, but my Kindle Fire is now stuck at the start screen but without a slide button. It seems to be stuck in bootup. I have tried everything I can find on the Internet. Nothing is working. My device is never found. I tried to root my Kindle again thinking I could get TWRP back on and try again, but since my device is never found I am very stuck. Any help will be very appreciated.

I successfully was able to root my KF and installed Jelly Bean but now my pc won’t recognize it in order to add the Google Play Store file.
    Any tips?

  7. De says:

Admin, Do you have contact info you could send me. I would like to speak with you personally. My problem is that my KF is stuck on the start up page only stating “Kindle Fire” I tried everything your video stated; however, it still does not work.

  8. Kevin says:

So i followed the 6.3 root video and when it was all done rooting I was pretty happy. My only problem is that I cannot read my books from kindle now. I updated the app and nothing. It says that the app isn’t registered/ in authorized to be registered. Also when I start it up, it does not go to the yellow placard fire sign that i need to hit the power button on in order to to get into TWRP. But i know TWRP was installed because it used to do that. Now when I boot up, a blue kindle fire pops up then it goes orange, then it goes to the lock screen.

-Can I fix the kindle app problem?

-Can i still use this vid if I cannot get into TWRP?

    - What should I do?

Hey listen I tried to root my kindle earlier today and it didn’t work it was stuck on the kindle fire load screen. then I disconnected it and then tried to turn it on and it showed me the twrp load screen and at the bottom it said press power button for recovery. how do I get rid of this stuff off my kindle and fix it?

  11. Caleb says:

Tried the rooting method on your other video and my wouldn’t root at first so I tried again and then it got stuck on the yellow and black fire logo with the words “press power button for recovery” at the bottom of the screen. Pressing the power button does nothing. Tried a hard reset, still nothing. Tried the steps to root again, nothing there. My computer doesn’t recognize it as a usb device anymore so I can’t unroot it. Please help!

  12. mike says:

tried to reroot the kindle fire – got stuck, windows 7 sees the kindle as a !kindle in the control panel, tried to update the drivers, windows 7 won’t see the drivers. any solution? or did I just get lol’d?

  13. mike says:

I found a solution to get the USB drivers to “reshow up” it starts by turning off your kindle / unplug it from your computer and without turning it on, plug in your usb port to your kindle. keep the control panel open. You should see !kindle pop up. open that, then you gotta reassign the drivers AGAIN from that ini file he mentioned before. I just got it reinstalled the Android Composite ADB interface. so the drivers are showing up. keep trying its there, but I’m still trying to UNBRICK my kindle.. so

  14. mike says:

one big problem is at this point, the kindle isn’t “fully booted” meaning it doesn’t show as a hard disk. therefore it is stuck in limbo it seems. however, the drivers do show as it is there as a Android Composite ADB interface. Any other solution?

    • mike says:

Ok, found out after you get the drivers done, >fastboot -i 0×1949 oem idme bootmode 4000 in command prompt, hard power off your kindle and repower back on and kindle works again.

  15. dolomiteID says:

I had the same issue, stuck at the yellow fire triangle. Use command prompt, change directory to whatever root script you were using and run: fastboot -i 0×1949 oem idme bootmode 4000

    This worked for me.

  16. dan says:

so when i go to install the file it says

    – verify md5 for /sdcard/update.zip
    – no md5 file found!
    – aborting install

what do i do? and what is wrong?
