For those of you who want to root your Kindle Fire 6.3.1, here’s how to root it. This root method will work if you have Kindle Fire software version 6.3 or 6.3.1.
Just a note, if you Kindle Fire gets “stuck” on Kindle Fire logo. Leave the script running but reboot your Kindle Fire by holding down the Power button. The scripts should keep going once that’s done.

After Amazon updated Kindle Fire to version 6.2.1, the older root method stopped working. But no worries, there’s a new root method in town, this one is also very easy to do and works on Windows, Mac and Linux.
